Meet our Staff
Sonya, Owner, RN, BSN, Certified Aesthetic Injector
Born in Indianapolis, IN, Sonya moved to Kentucky at age 16. She earned her ADN from Jefferson Community College and went on to complete her BSN at Western Governors University. With 20 years of experience in the operating room, Sonya has worked across all surgical specialties, including trauma care for both pediatric and adult patients. Her diverse nursing background also includes experience in home health, hospice, and psychiatric care.
Sonya's personal journey with weight loss and its impact on her appearance, combined with her extensive procedural nursing expertise, inspired her to pursue certification as an aesthetics nurse and open Posh.
In 2008, Sonya married her true other half, Todd, after meeting in the operating room. Together, they have a beautifully blended family: Sonya brought Ryan and Kayla and Todd brought Logan and Trinity. They later welcomed their youngest, Kyle, completing their family. Many of the family members work in healthcare, and you'll often see them at Posh. Be sure to check out their bios as well.
Kayla, rN, Certified Aesthetic Injector
Born in Louisville, KY, Kayla moved to Taylorsville, KY just as she was starting high school. She earned her ADN at Jefferson Community College. Kayla started her career at U of L Hospital in the PCU but then transitioned to Norton Children's in the Pediatric CVICU. Kayla loves taking care of children but also LOVES all things to do with Aesthetics.
After meeting at Spencer County High School, Kayla and her husband Estevan were high school sweethearts. They married in 2020 and welcomed their son Adrian in 2022. Kayla continues to live in Spencer County and is happy to bring services to this community. If you have skincare concerns or questions, Kayla can guide you every step of the way.
Hannah, MSN, AGACNP-BC Certified Aesthetic Injector
Hannah was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She graduated with a BSN from Spalding University. She began her career in ICU/Critical Care with an emphasis on cardiac patients. After gaining experience, she traveled as a critical care/ICU nurse concurrently obtaining her advanced degree. She received her Adult -Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practioner degree from Walden University. She currently specializes in pulmonology/critical care and works with Posh.
Hannah is married to our nurse, Ryan. Sonya introduced them in 2018. They hit it off immediately and have been together ever since.
Hannah and Ryan share one son, Owen, along with their two dogs, Riley and Titan, and they are thrilled to welcome a baby daughter in early 2025.

Ryan, RN, Hydration and Wellness
Ryan was born and raised in Louisville, KY. Ryan graduated in 2017 with his ADN from Galen College of Nursing. Ryan worked as an ER nurse for 6 years before moving into his current role as an after-hours triage and transfer nurse. Ryan also has extensive experience in hydration therapy.
Ryan is married to our Nurse Practitioner, Hannah. Prior to getting married, they had a unique opportunity to travel together for work, spending time in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Spokane, Washington. Ryan continued to do local travel nursing assignments while Hannah completed her degree as an NP.
Ryan enjoys watching sports, movies, exercising, cooking, and spending as much family time together as possible. One fun fact about Ryan is he lives a plant-based, vegan lifestyle.
Todd, Spa Operations Manager
Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Todd began his career as a Corpsman in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he pursued further education, earning a degree as a Certified Surgical Technologist from Jefferson Community and Technical College and an additional diploma as a Surgical First Assistant from Madisonville Community College.
While Todd's role at Posh may not involve procedures, his deep knowledge of surgery, sterility, and skincare, along with his keen eye for detail, is invaluable in keeping the daily operations running smoothly. His mathematical mind and organizational skills are just as important behind the scenes.
He is known for his quick wit and love of movies, trivia, gaming, and sports. Todd is also an avid golfer and an all-around handyman. Whether he's helping out at the desk or relaxing on the sofa (often changing the TV channel to sports), be sure to say hi when you see him! We couldn't be Posh without him.
